Terms of Service

Last updated: June 14, 2026

These terms govern your use of WIP, the work-in-progress and job-cost platform operated by One Electric LLC ("WIP," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using WIP, you agree to these terms on behalf of your organization.

1. The service

WIP connects to your QuickBooks Online account and presents your job financials — WIP/CVR, contract vs. cost-to-date, earned revenue and GP%, AR/AP aging, and change orders. Features evolve over time; some capabilities described on our site may be in development.

2. Accounts & eligibility

3. Subscriptions & billing

4. Your data

As between you and us, your organization owns its data, including the accounting data you connect. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, and display that data to provide the service. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse WIP — including by attempting to access other organizations' data, reverse-engineering the service, interfering with its operation, or using it to violate the law or third-party rights.

6. Third-party services

WIP integrates with third-party services such as QuickBooks Online and Stripe. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.

7. Service availability

We work to keep WIP available and reliable, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, with notice where practical.

8. Disclaimers

WIP is a reporting and management tool, not an accounting, tax, legal, or financial-advice service. The numbers it displays depend on the accuracy of the data you connect. You are responsible for verifying figures before relying on them for billing, filings, or business decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Electric LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Term & termination

These terms apply while you use WIP. You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or non-payment. On termination, you may request export of your organization's data for a limited period.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll revise the "last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
